Connecting your Station to the Internet
Connecting your station to the internet would
enable more features in the future through
over-the-air updates.
Have the following ready before connecting
your station to the internet. Connecting your
station to the internet should be completed
within 15 minutes of powering the station:
Lucid Connected Home Charging

Station (powered off)
Laptop/computer

Station's Serial # (e.g.: 2215200034 –
-
found on the right side of station).
Station's IP address:

For Wifi: 192.168.5.1
○
For Ethernet: 192.168.1.10
○
User's preferred WiFi network and
-
Password
User's Lucid ID (email address)

1. Power on the Lucid Connected Home
Charging Station via the breaker. Wait
2 minutes for the unit to transition from
a pulsing light to solid, which will then
begin broadcasting its Wi-Fi Network for
the first 15 minutes. This is also when
the station is ready to be connected by
Ethernet.
2. If connecting via Wi-Fi, please execute
the following steps:
a. Using a laptop, seek its Wi-Fi
Network (SSID), matching the serial
# of the unit, a 10- digit number
found on the label on the right side
of the unit. (ex. 2215200034). Once
selected, use the serial number
again of the station as the password
to connect. (e.g.: 2215200034).
b. Once the laptop is connected
to theWiFi Network (SSID) of
the charging station, open your
preferred web browser, enter the
station's IP address: 192.168.5.1
Operations
Note: The browser may prompt a
warning, please accept the warning,
and proceed to following steps.
c. This will then load the Lucid Web
Configurator login screen. Enter
the same 10-digit serial # of the
charging station to log into the
configurator.
3. Optional Password reset step: It is
recommended to change this Password
by selecting Maintenance in the top
right corner. Select Password, and then
enter the new Password, click Save. This
will log you out and you would be asked
to sign back in with your new Password.
4. After signing in with the updated
Password, connect the Lucid Connected
Home Charging Station to the home
network via Wi-Fi, select Setup and then
Wi-Fi.
a. On this screen, enter the preferred
home network's Wi-Fi name and
associated Password, then click
Apply. Other options can typically
be on their default settings.
b. The screen would show buffering
status for few minutes, please
wait, this is the time when EVSE
is rebooting and is trying to
connect to internet using your home
network.
5. If connecting via Ethernet, please
execute the following steps after
connecting ethernet cable:
a. Open a web browser and try logging
in to device through its IP address:
192.168.1.10.
b. Follow steps 2c through 4.
6. If connecting via Ethernet, select Setup,
then the Ethernet tab.
a. If Ethernet connection is
established successfully, a valid IP
(192.168.1.10) will be shown. Other
options can be default settings.
