Function buttons
REF.TEMP: Temperature setting refrigerator
Allows you to regulate the inside temperature in the
range of +2°C to +8°C.
Press this button for approx. 3 seconds to switch the
fridge operation off and on again if necessary.
FRZ.TEMP: Temperature setting freezer
Allows you to regulate the inside temperature in the
range of -16°C to -24°C.
SUPER COOL / SUPER FRZ.:
Super cooling / super freezing -function
When the super cooling and / or freezing function is
activated, the appliance will operate at maximum
power to accelerate the cooling and / or freezing
process.
The super cooling function switches off automatically
after about 150 minutes and the super freezing func-
tion after about 24 hours. The respective inside tem-
perature adapts to the preset temperature.
VACATION: Holiday mode
CAUTION:
Do not store any fresh or perishable food in the fridge
during this time.
Cause of longer absence you can put the appliance
into holiday mode.
The fridge operation is switched off and the tempera-
ture of the freezer is switched automatically to -18°C.
LOCK/UNLOCK: Child safety lock
Press the button for about 3 seconds to lock/unlock
the operation of the control panel.
Starting the appliance
Connect the appliance to the power supply.
Set the operating conditions. See also the follow-
ing section "Settings".
Settings
Note that the temperature will change depending on
the ambient temperature, frequency of door opening
and the amount of food in the appliance.
During initial operation, adjust the lowest possible
temperature level, or select the super freeze and/or
super cooling function first, until the appliance has
reached the desired operating temperature. After-
wards it is recommended to turn the control back to a
medium setting; correcting the temperature at a later
point would then be easier.
Interior light
By opening the respective appliance door, the interior
light switches on automatically.
Storing food
NOTE: Recommendation!
To guarantee that the temperature is low enough,
you should pre-cool the appliance a few times before
initial loading foods.
CAUTION:
Always pay attention to the storage instructions on
the sales packaging.
To avoid contamination of food, respect the following
instructions:
Opening the door for long periods can cause a
significant increase of the temperature in the
compartments of the appliance.
Clean regularly surfaces that can come in contact
with food and accessible drainage systems (see
"Cleaning and Maintenance").
