Care of chains
Following the use of the chains, make sure that they dry rapidly. Mud and dirt-covered
chains should be rinsed in hot water and then dried. Badly corroded chains should be
re-galvanized.
Regular inspection of condition: Turn the chains when one side of the links is worn
down by 1/3 of the wire diameter. Exception: Chains with welded wear studs.

a) hardened repair ring
b) 2 hardened repair rings +
hardened chain piece
