Installation:
From the Charger to Battery:
Heavy gauge red wire connects to positive battery terminal (B+)
Heavy gauge black wire connects to negative battery terminal (B-)
From the Charger to EZlamp:
Light gauge red wire to "+" of EZlamp
Light gauge black wire to "-" of EZlamp
From the Charger to Vehicle:
Two gray wires provide an open-when powered signal to prevent vehicle operation.
From the Charger to wall socket:
Use 3x AWG16 AC power cord (for 100-120 Vac)
Use 3x1mm
Plug the mains cable into a properly earthed socket protected by a magnetothermic
switch fitted with type C intervention specifications.
Connect AC power cord to IEC320 plug
*Optimum performance will be achieved by bolting down the charger to the metallic chassis of
the vehicle.
Operation:
Once the charger is properly connected to the battery and powered, the EZlamp will indicate the
charging phases. Listed below are the EZlamp codes during the charging period.
EZlamp Code
Flashing Red
Steady Red
Steady Yellow
Steady Green
Troubleshooting:
The EZlamp will also indicate any faults that may occur during the charging process. Listed
below are the EZlamp codes for a fault that may have occurred.
EZlamp Code
Continuous flashing red
Flashing red and yellow
When restarting the charger, please wait until the EZLamp stops flashing. Then proceed to turn
the charger back on.
