Troubleshooting
Make sure spark plug is clean.
Replace the spark plug if upon
inspection the electrodes are burned
or worn.
Check the spark plug gap with a
feeler gage.
Check for spark by using a spark
tester.
Pump primer bulb, if no fuel flows
then pipes are blocked.
Have the machine serviced.
If spark plug is wet then engine may
be flooded.
Remove spark plug, turn engine
upside down, pull choke and pull
starter handle approx. 10 times;
clean spark plug and refit.
Drain and use correct fuel mix.
Have the machine serviced.
Remove spark arrestor, clean and
refit.
Drain and use correct fuel mix
(Oil/Fuel mix ratio 1:40).
Clean as per instructions.
Use high performance 2- stroke
engine oil.
Check the position of the chain
brake. The chain will only run if chain
brake is released.
