Maintenance
- loose saw chain tension,
- incorrectly installed chain parts,
- loose rivets
- bent, cracked, or broken saw chain components,
- incorrectly sharpened chain angles.
Keep the chain saw and the chain in good operating condition.
Cylinder Fins
Dust clogging between the cylinder fins will cause overheating of the
engine.
Periodically check and clean the cylinder fins after removing the air
filter. When installing the cylinder cover, make sure the spark plug is
correctly positioned.
