English:
1. ASSEMBLE FRAME
Slide the front bracket (See Fig. 2) over the straight end of the support tube with the flanges facing rearward. Place the
rear bracket over the support tube with the flanges facing forward. See Fig. 2. DO NOT bolt together at this time.

the tray on the frame.
b. Install a 1/4" flat washer on the 1/4" bolt. Turn tray over. Insert the bolt through the center holes of the underside of the
carrier halves. Install the other 1/4" flat washer and the 1/4" lock nut on the bolt. See Fig. 3b. Torque the nut to 6 ft•lb.
3. MOUNT TRAY TO FRAME
a. Place the assembled carrier tray over the frame and insert the LONG 3/8" carriage bolts with the 3/16" blocks down
through the center mounting holes in the carrier tray, bracket and support tube. See Fig. 4. Be sure to install the blocks
in the orientation shown. Install 3/8" flat washers and 3/8" lock nuts on the bolts.
Note: If you do not have lock nuts in your kit, install the flat washers, lock washers, and nuts on the bolts.
b. Insert the SHORT 3/8" carriage bolts with the 3/16" blocks down through the outer mounting holes in the carrier tray and
the brackets. Install 3/8" flat washers and 3/8" lock nuts on the bolts. See Fig. 4. Be sure to install the blocks in the
orientation shown. Install 3/8" flat washers and 3/8" lock nuts on the bolts.
Note: If you do not have lock nuts in your kit, install the flat washers, lock washers, and nuts on the bolts.
c. Tighten all bolts. Torque 1/4" bolts to 6 ft•lb. Torque 3/8" bolts to 24 ft•lb.
LOADING
Load the Cargo Carrier so that most of the weight is in the center of the platform. Maximum load rating is 400 lb with a
5,000 lb hitch, and 300 lb with a 3,500 lb hitch.
IMPORTANT NOTE: If the Cargo Carrier or cargo blocks the license plate, you can mount the license plate directly to the
back of the Cargo Carrier. Use the license plate as a template to mark two holes to drill. Diameter of the holes will depend
on the screws you are using, but should not exceed 1/4".
If the Cargo Carrier or cargo blocks the tail lights, you will need to install the optional Cargo Carrier Light Kit, #13568. For
this Cargo Carrier (#59500), you will need to drill 1/4" holes for the light bolts to pass through. Cut out the template below
Fig. 2 and follow the instructions on it. The holes should be drilled just under the lip. See Fig. 4. Note: the light kit contains a
license plate bracket, so you will not need to drill separate holes for the license plate.
