Operation
Using the "ON-OFF" Manual Switch mounted on the Presence
Sensor, you can switch the sensor and the associated lighting
system ON or OFF. If it is set to OFF, the lamps cannot light, re-
gardless. If it is set to ON, then using the IR Remote Control shown
above you can select one of three operating modes: Automatic, On
or Off. In addition one of two channels are selectable for independ-
ent control of two separate lighting systems as explained below.
IR Remote Usage (Set "ON-OFF" Manual Switch to ON)
1. AUTO (Automatic)
You select automatic operation by aiming the IR Remote at the
Presence Sensor and pressing the "AUTO" button. The Presence
Sensor will then switch ON its associated lighting system upon
detecting movement or depending on the lux level set for twilight
operation.
2. ON (Lighting system continually ON)
Aim the IR Remote at the Presence Sensor and press the "ON"
button. The lighting system will switch ON and remain ON regard-
less of movement or the twilight lux setting.
3. OFF (Lighting system continually OFF)
Aim the IR Remote at the Presence Sensor and press the "OFF"
button. The lighting system will switch OFF and remain OFF regard-
less of movement or the twilight lux setting
4. CH (Channel Selection)
You can group several Presence Sensors into either channel 1 or
channel 2. To do this, set the switch on each Presence Sensor to
"CH 1" or "CH 2" as required. Then set the slide switch on the IR
Remote to the channel you wish to change. Operating the
"AUTO", "ON" or "OFF" buttons on the IR Remote will then only
affect the Presence Sensor(s) of the associated channel. As
verification, the LED indicator on a Presence Sensor will light
whenever a signal from the IR Remote is received.
