Selection of a suitable installation location:
•
Avoid locations near objects having strong temperature
variations (heaters, air conditioners, etc.).
•
Please take into account that the sensor has the highest
sensitivity for tangential movements past the sensor and
the smallest sensitivity for radial movements directly to-

ward or away from the sensor.
Activation Radii: Micro-movements within a 3 m radius and normal
movements within a 8 m radius activate this 360° system.
Controls:
The "ON-OFF" Manual Switch on the Presence Sensor allows
manual control of the lighting system. The IR Remote can only

control the system if the "ON-OFF" Manual Switch is set to
ON. For details, see "Operation" below.

Installation Instructions:

•
Ensure the mains source is switched OFF.
•
Remove the cover by pressing the curved sides together
and pulling it out.
•
There are two possibilities for feeding in the wires which
vary depending on your local situation. One is directly into
the top of the unit through the ceiling. The other is from
the side through one of the entry holes. If side entry is to

be used, push out the cover blocking the entry hole se-
lected to allow feeding in the cable, but then:
CAUTION: There are sharp edges once the entry cover has
been pushed out. Be careful to avoid injury.
First install the mounting plate:
•
Use the mounting plate as a template to mark where the
holes on the ceiling are to be drilled.
•
Obtain suitable rawlplugs (screw anchors) and screws
and then fasten the mounting plate to the ceiling.
