Mains cable connections:
•
Connect the phase wire (normally brown or black) to ter-
minal "L" of the unit's terminal block.
•
Connect the neutral wire (normally blue) to terminal "N" of
the unit's terminal block.
Lamp connections:
•
Connect the phase wire of the lighting system to terminal
"LS" of the unit's terminal block.
•
Connect the neutral wire (normally blue) of the lighting
system to terminal "N" of the unit's terminal block.
•
Now attach the unit to the mounting plate.
Setting the Lighting System:
Test the presence sensor function (without the IR Remote Control)
as follows:
1. Test Mode
•
Go to the test position by turning both the Time Setting
and Twilight Setting potentiometers counter-clockwise all
the way to test stop (T).
•
Switch ON the "ON-OFF" Manual Switch. The lamps

should light and then extinguish after a warm-up time of
approx. 2 minutes.
•
Movement within the monitored area should cause the
lamps to light.
2. Settings
Time Setting
You can set the run-time, that is, how long the lamps light af-
ter the unit detects movement. The time is adjustable from

approx. 2 to 15 minutes. The times of 2, 5, 10 and 15 marked
on the potentiometer are approximate.
Note: The "T" position can be used to generate a short pulse
for initiating sequences or starting external timers.
