CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Important: before performing routine cleaning, remove the plug from the mains.
 Regularly check that the filter is clean to ensure operation remains as efficient as
possible.
 FILTER:
Place the top on a soft cloth or other surface
-
Turn the filter cover (7) counter-clockwise, in the direction of the arrow (OPEN)
-
Remove the old filter. Insert the new filter correctly in its seat
-
Position the cover on the bottom so that the 4 pins (9) match the respective
-
slots on the body (8) and turn clockwise in the direction of the arrow (CLOSE).
A "click" can be heard when it is correctly and fully locked into place.
Replace the filter only with an original spare part after about 680 hours of operation.
The number of hours also depends on the air quality of the room.
Do not clean the filter with a vacuum cleaner
Do not wash and reuse the filter
 To clean the body, use a soft cloth dampened with water and, if necessary, use also
a mild everyday detergent.
 Do not use abrasive or corrosive products.
 Do not immerse any electrical parts in water or another liquid. In the event this
occurs, dry carefully and check that the electric parts are completely dry. Only
thereafter, plug the appliance into the mains. If in doubt, contact a qualified
professional.
 If the appliance is not used for long periods of time, you should store it away from
dust and moisture; we recommend using the original packaging.
 If you decide to no longer use the appliance, it is recommended that it be made
inoperative by cutting the power cord (first ensure that the appliance has been
unplugged from the power supply), and ensure that any parts that could represent
a risk to playing children are put away.
