3. The tip will reach a temperature of 450°C (842°F) in
approximately 25 seconds. The status LED will turn green.
4. The work light LEDs (G) will turn on to illuminate the work.
5. Clean the residue from the soldering iron once it is hot.
6. Heat the part by holding the soldering iron against it. Be
careful not to melt any plastic components.

Apply rosin-based solder to the part and melt it with the
soldering iron. When using non-rosin-based solder, be sure
to apply a soldering paste to the part before applying the
solder.
8. Press the power button to shut off the soldering iron.
8.1 Re-tin the tip before storing.
8.2 The soldering iron will shut off automatically after 10
minutes. Press the power button again to continue
using the soldering iron.
9. Wait for the solder to cool and harden before moving the
soldered part.
CARE & MAINTENANCE
1.
Maintain the tool with care. A tool in good condition is
efficient, easier to control and will have fewer problems.
2.
Inspect the tool components periodically. Repair or replace
damaged or worn components. Only use identical
replacement parts when servicing.
3. Only use accessories intended for use with this tool.
4. Remove oxide on the tip by lightly rubbing it with abrasive
paper, wiping it clean, then immediately reheating and re-
tinning the tip. Do not use course abrasives or cleaning
detergent.
5. Maintain the tool's labels and name plates. These carry
important information. If unreadable or missing, contact
Princess Auto Ltd. for replacements.
