Important - TOP perfomances VARIOTOP TPR Mode D'emploi

1) Clean installation area thoroughly.
2) Remove the plastic parts and/or fairings that cover the converter
cover (if possible, refer to the vehicle owner's manual).
3) Remove the fi lter cover and the fi lter (if any).
4) Remove the transmission cover plastic shield (if any).
5) Remove the transmission cover.
6) Remove the nut on front converter unit.
7) Remove the fi xed pulley, the belt and mobile pulley.
8) Remove the block holder together with its driving blocks from the
mobile pulley.
9) Position chosen set of weights (4) onto Top Performance mobile
pulley (see calibration notes).
10) Insert supplied spacer (1) onto crankshaft (only for p/n 9923460).
11) Fit the block holder Top (2) (together with its driving blocks) onto
Top Performances mobile pulley.
12) Insert, with great care, the Top Performances pulley onto the
crankshaft and set fully home.
13) Check belt for wear, renew it if damaged or worn out.
14) Refi t the belt.
15) Fit the fi xed pulley, the washer and nut.
16) Tighten the nut.
IMPORTANT: respect the tightening torque indicated by manufacturer;
a lower torque could provoke nut loosening resulting in
serious damage to the crankshaft.
17) Refi t the casings.
Note: to ensure converter effi cient cooling it is necessary to
clean or change the fi lter on transmission cover, if the
scooter fi ts one.
