D) Why SHORT or LONG delay?
Some electronic ballasts are designed to turn ON very
quickly after being turned OFF without damage. In this
case, SHORT DELAY (5 seconds) could be used. But
most electronic ballasts are not likely to work
appropriately—and can be damaged—following a
short OFF/ON cycle. See ballasts specifications or con-
tact manufacturer for more details. If you are unable to get your ballasts
specifications, it is highly recommended to use LONG DELAY (5 minutes)
setting.
E) Interrupting the 5-minute LONG DELAY:
Even if you've selected the LONG DELAY, you may need to interrupt the
5-minute delay in order to turn the lights ON immediately. To do so, just set the
sliding selector to SHORT DELAY and wait about 5 seconds for the lights to turn
ON. If desired, return the selector to original LONG DELAY setting for next cycles.

Replace cover and tighten up screws.
