ALUMINUM HUB BEARING REMOVAL SET
The following aspects should be noted:
- The thrust bearing of the screw should be in the center of the pressure plate, facing outward.
- As you rotate, look for the position where all support bolts are firmly in contact with the pressure plate and cannot
unintentionally slide into the existing holes.
- Select the appropriate pressure piece and position it at the rear to guide the wheel hub from the rear.
Note: It must be smaller than the inside diameter of the wheel bearing.
When attaching the tools, do the following:
nsert the screw into the pressure plate so that the pressure pad is exactly in the pressure plate mounting cone. Now
insert the appropriate pressure piece from behind onto the end of the screw and tighten the back nut.
Align the pressure plate exactly before tightening the screw. The wheel hub can then be pulled out by operating the
screw while simultaneously holding the rear nut in place.
Attention: During the entire extraction process, make sure that all parts are positioned precisely and securely
and correct them if necessary!
Note: if necessary, we also recommend our set for extracting the inner ring of the wheel bearing from the hub.
REMOVING THE WHEEL BEARING
After the wheel hub has been removed, the wheel bearing can be disassembled as follows. First, the pressure plate,
hexagonal bearing bolts, pressure bearing screw, large pressure piece, and rear pressure nut are positioned as shown
in Fig.6.

pressure plate so that the two spherical ends of the
support bolts can be safely and evenly supported on
the body. Differences in height are compensated for by
