3.8 Replacement of the fuse

The following procedure is to be gone through when changing the
range fuse for the mA direct voltage input.
Disconnect CorroScout
switch it off.
Remove the measuring leads from the device.
Undo the fastening screws under the black rubber caps on the
back (bottom) of the device with a suitable screwdriver (Phillips type).
Carefully remove the lower shell of the housing locked at the top
of the device.
Remove the defective fuse and replace with a new one of the
same type and a nominal current strength of 0.315 A, quick-
acting, 250 V.
Carefully close CorroScout
of the connecting clip when closing the measuring instrument.
Do not forget the rubber caps.
Put CorroScout
ning the housing safely with screws.
3.9 Connecting the measuring leads.
Only use the supplied measuring leads in undamaged condition. The
measuring leads are approved for voltages to 300 V. Special care
must be taken with voltages that exceed 25 V alternating or 35 V
direct voltages. Never exceed the maximum input limits.
Plug the black lead into the COM jack (negative) and the red lead
into the V

3.10 "Hold" button

If the button "Hold" is actuated the actual measuring value will be
held. To quit this function, press the "Hold" button once again. The
device can then again be used for measurements.
