Crock Capacity
How much does your slow cooker
hold?
The capacity of your slow cooker refers
to the amount the crock can hold if it is
filled to the rim. However, we DO NOT
recommend filling to the rim.

5. Select cooking time in one hour
increments by pressing the Time Up
or Time Down buttons to obtain
desired number of cooking hours.
6. When cooking time is completed, the
unit will display "END" and automati-
cally switch to Keep Warm at the
end of cooking cycle. The appliance
will operate for a maximum of 12
hours and at the end of 12 hours will
automatically switch off and will dis-
play "OFF."
For example, after cooking for 8
hours on High or Low, the slow
cooker will switch to Keep Warm for
the next 4 hours. After 12 total hours
(8 cooking hours and 4 Keep Warm
hours), the unit will shut off.
4. When finished with cooking cycle,
press OFF button on control panel
and unplug Base. Remove food from
Crock.
5. Let Crock and Cover cool slightly
before washing.
As a rule, you should select recipes
that yield 1 quart less than the listed
capacity of your crock. For example,
if your slow cooker is labeled as a
6-quart slow cooker, your best results
will be achieved using recipes that yield
5 quarts or less.
