Installation
The generally recognized rules of engineering,
IEC 60079-14 "Design, selection and erection of
electrical installations", national regulations and
these operating instructions apply for the instal-
lation and operation.
4.1
Mounting
The safety valve is mounted on the top of the
enclosure or equipment to be protected by
means of the M 25 x 1.5 mm thread and is then
tightened and locked with the counter nut sup-
plied with it.
4.2
Rated reaction pressure
The valve insert is set in the factory at a pressure
of 15-20 mbar (150-200 Pa) and, for safety rea-
sons, it must not be altered.
