IN BED THORACIC SUPPORT
The in-bed thoracic support system is recommended for all persons
requiring postural support of the torso while seated in a Fowler
position, with the head of the bed elevated up to 90 degrees.
This system was developed for use with single beds.
This item meets the requirements of California 116 & 117, NFPA 701, CE
marking and NF EN1021-1, EN1021-2 norms.
COMPONENTS
Thoracic supports are made with ethafoam and covered with a layer of
urethane to provide firm support, each thoracic support comes with a zippered
cover.
Wrap-around velcro fabric
waterproof, antimicrobial and fire retardant grey Startex fabric.
 Four horizontal velcro strips are sewn to the wrap-around velcro fabric
to ensure proper positioning of the thoracic supports.
 The support system is attached to the bed with two fastening straps and
buckles, placed at the corners of the wrap-around velcro fabric.
