During sawing, workpieces can become jammed be-
tween the parallel stop and the saw blade, caught
by the saw blade and then ejected at speed. For this
reason, the lower guide surface of the parallel stop
should be favoured. Shift the stop rail if required (see
9.4.2).
1. The parallel stop should be adjusted to the cutting
width of the workpiece.
2. Press the workpiece with the push block against
the stop rail and push the workpiece with the push
stick (17) through to the end of the riving knife (3).
11.3.3 Performing bevel cuts (Fig. 26)
All bevel cuts are made using the parallel stop (14).
The parallel stop (14) must always be fitted to the right
of the saw blade. Otherwise, workpieces can become
jammed between the parallel stop and the saw blade
during sawing and ejected at speed.
1. Adjust the saw blade to the desired angle.
2. Adjust the parallel stop (14) according to the work-
piece width and height.
3. Perform the cut according to the workpiece width
11.4 Performing transverse cuts (Fig. 27)
1. Push the transverse stop (31) into one of the two
grooves (28a/b) of the saw table. Adjust to the de-
sired angle. The left groove (28a) is to be used if
the saw blade (4) also has to be positioned at an
oblique angle. This will prevent your hand and the
transverse stop from coming into contact with the
saw blade guard.
2. Use the stop rail (30).
3. Press the workpiece firmly against the transverse
stop (31) / stop rail (30).
4. Switch on the saw.
5. Push the transverse stop (31) and workpiece in
the direction of the saw blade in order to perform
the cut.
m CAUTION: Always hold the guided workpiece
firmly and never the free workpiece which is cut off.
6. Always push the transverse stop (31) so far for-
wards until the workpiece is completely cut
through.
7. Switch the saw off again.
8. Only remove sawing waste when the saw blade
has come to a standstill.
11.5 Cutting chipboard
To prevent the cutting edges from breaking when cut-
ting chipboard, do not set the saw blade (4) higher
than 5 mm above the thickness of the workpiece.
11.6 After sawing
1. Switch off the circular table saw first and then the
extraction unit. The saw blade continues to run for
a longer time.
2. Do not remove the cut waste on the saw table until
the saw blade has returned to its rest position.

3. Disconnect the circular table saw from the mains
by pulling the mains plug out of the power outlet.
4. Allow the circular table saw to cool down com-
pletely.
11.7 Removing trapped material
m WARNING! Risk of injury!
Improper handling of the circular table saw may result
in serious injury.
• Switch off the circular table saw immediately and
disconnect the mains plug from the power outlet if
the saw blade is jammed in the workpiece or other
blockages occur.
• Use protective gloves and do not touch the saw
blade with your bare hands.
11.8 Fitting/replacing the saw blade (Fig. 13+16)
m WARNING: Pull out the mains plug and wear
protective gloves.
1.
Remove the saw blade guard (2) (see 8.4).
2. Remove the table insert (5) by loosening the two
countersunk screws (25).
3. Place the Allen key (h) (HX6) on the screw and
hold it against the motor shaft with the ring span-
ner (f) (SW22).
CAUTION: Turn the screw in the direction of rota-
tion of the saw blade. Remove the loosened screw.
4.
Remove the outer flange and pull the old saw
blade diagonally downwards from the inner flange.
5. Clean the saw blade flanges carefully with a wire
brush before mounting the new saw blade.
6. Insert and tighten the new saw blade in reverse
order.
CAUTION: Observe running direction, the
cutting bevel of the teeth must point in run-
ning direction, i.e. towards the front.
7.
Refit and adjust the table insert (5) and saw blade
protection (2) (see 8.4 + 12.2).
8. Before you start working with the saw again,
check that the safety devices are functioning
properly.
12. Transport (Fig. 28)
1. Turn the power tool off before it is transported and
disconnect it from the power supply.
2. Lower the saw blade (4) as far as possible.
3. Wind up the mains cable
4. Always carry the electric tool with at least one oth-
er person. Do not carry the machine by the table
extensions, but only lift it by the housing.
5. Protect the power tool against knocks, jolts and
strong vibrations, e.g. when it is transported in
motor vehicles.
6. Secure the power tool against tilting and sliding.
7. Never use the protective devices for handling or

transport.
