8. Using the trigger cable
Use the trigger cable to make the Channel 1 camera automatically display in full screen when a
particular function on the vehicle is active. For example when the reverse gear is engaged.
The trigger cable is usually connected to the fuse of the function in question.
1.
Connect the ring shaped connectors to the function you would like to trigger the camera.
If you are unsure which pole is which, it is safe to try one way and switching the cables if it
doesn't work.
2.
Connect the other end of the cable to the monitor.
3.
Make sure the camera you would like to display is set to Channel 1. (See chapter 9.)
9. Using extra cameras
You can use up to 3 additional cameras with your tractorCam S solution. We recommend that you
pair the camera with your monitor before mounting it on your machine.
Pairing camera and monitor
1.
Connect the camera to a power source according to the instructions in chapter 7.
2.
On the monitor, go to menu mode and go down to Pair Cam. Choose the channel you
wish to use for the new camera. (A channel not used by a camera you already have
installed.)
3.
Press the Menu button on the monitor. A 60 second countdown will start.
4.
Within the 60 second countdown, press the pair button on the camera.
5.
Mount the camera in the desired position after making sure the signal strength is good
enough.
Switching between the cameras on the monitor
Make sure you have chosen the ON or Mirror option in the menu for the cameras you wish to
switch between. Press the number buttons to switch between the cameras. Cameras set to OFF
in the menu will not be displayed even though they are supplied with power.
