5. Planning the placement of camera & monitor
Illustrated above are a few examples on where to place the camera.
If you would like to use the camera where there is no power source available, have a look at our
Flexi Pack battery accessory. (See the back cover of this user guide.)
The monitor power cable is 2 m long. Power to the monitor can be drawn either from a lighter
socket (6015) or directly using the alternative adapter cable. (6014)
At a free line of sight the range between the camera and monitor is up to 150 m. However,
all machines are different so please try out the signal quality before mounting the units
permanently. You can use the optional larger antenna with cable to shorten the transmission
distance and get a better signal.

INFORMATION
The 2,4 GHz frequency signals are sent out as radio waves in the air. The waves
can penetrate most objects or bounce around them. However, the signals
loose strength at every obstacle they need to penetrate.
