Replace the hose or pressure regulator and make sure that they are installed in the exact same way. In the
Netherlands, a 30mbar pressure regulator should be placed. The hose must not be longer than 2.5 meters.
When in doubt, always consult a qualified gas engineer.
5. Replacing the battery for the piezo ignition
The Cosicube features a piezo ignition that runs on one AAA battery. This
battery may run out after repeated use of the device. The battery can be
replaced as follows:
-
Make sure the Cosicube, ceramic logs and lava rocks are completely
cooled down.
-
Make sure the Cosicube is no longer connected to the gas bottle.
-
Open the hatch of the Cosicube.
-
On the control panel you will find a smaller black button besides the
control button. This is the ignition where you will find the battery.
-
You can now twist the black ignition open and place the battery on
the ignition, according to the instructions. Please mind the +/- sides
(see image on the right).
-
The old battery should be returned to a collection point.
6. Moving the unit
It is advisable to move the Cosicube as little as possible. With every move
you risk damage to the Cosicube. If you still want to move the unit, make
sure that the Cosicube is shut off from the gas bottle. The new location for
the Cosicube needs to be clean, flat, and hardened again.
7. Installing the cover
For each Cosicube an all-weather cover can be purchased separately. This protects your Cosicube against
weather influences. It is always advised to use this cover. Only place the cover when the Cosicube is completely
cooled down. If you place the cover immediately after usage of the device, the cover will gain damage and
possibly even catch fire.
