Use
The pump can be set to automatically switch
on and off at speci� c water levels.
When adjusting the � oat, it is essential to do
this in a location where it is easily accessible.
The pump can, for example, be placed in a
bowl of water. Position the � oat in the holder.
Lift the � oat to the maximum position, so the
pump begins to run. Lower the � oat slowly
to the minimum position, until the pump
switches off . Remember to make sure that
the pump stops before the � oat touches the
bottom; otherwise the pump will run dry and
could be damaged.
The pump must be � tted to a water butt. Use
the handle (5) to hang the pump on the edge
of the water butt.
Then � t the water hose to the water coupling.
Check that the pump's connections � t tightly.
Switch the pump on and off at the mains
socket.

Transport and storage

Lift the pump by the carrying handle when
transporting it.
Store the pump in a dry, frost-free location.
Clean the pump components with clean
water and allow them to dry completely
before storing.

Cleaning and maintenance

The pump is maintenance-free.
If you are using the pump as a permanent
installation, you should check the function of
the � oat switch every three months. Remove
any deposits from the � oat and wash any
mud, etc. off the pump's impeller.
If the impeller is clogged by dirt, you should
remove the intake from the pump and clean
the impeller with clean water. The pump
must not rest on the impeller. Reassemble
the pump before use.
