1 Operating Instruction for VacuProCleaner Compact
Please proceed as follows when using the device as pond vacuum cleaner:
• Position the device at a safety distance of 2 m away from the pond.
• Screw the connecting part of the outlet hose to the outlet nozzle at the container and place the hose in such a way that the water can run out freely at a suitable place in the
garden.
• Pay attention that the valve fl ap can freely open and close. Adjust the valve fl ap attachment vertically by a light turn to the left or right for optimal outlet of the dirty water.
• Open the two fastening clips at both sides. Remove the motor head and pull over the fi lter sponge of the motor over the motor protective grid (with the string up). Tighten the
string for tight t and lock. Then replace the motor head and close the two clips.
• Connect the plug-in connection of the vacuum hose with the vacuuming nozzle at the cover and lock the connection by inserting it into the clicking lock.
• Assemble the transparent vacuuming jet and the vacuuming tube extensions with the vacuuming connection. Then move the switch (2) to II AUTOMATIC to switch on the device.
• The device will switch on automatically only after 10 seconds. Within this time you can position yourself at the location to be cleaned and immediately start the pond cleaning after
start of the motor.
• The device will switch off for approximately 12 seconds after a working interval of approximately 30 seconds to drain the fi lled collecting container. During this time you can fi nd
the next location to be cleaned and place the vacuuming nozzle accordingly.
• The device operates now continuously with this time interval.
• If you interrupt your work or want to fi nish it, move the switch again to 0 (OFF). Always pull out the plug fi rst if the device is not used.
• Dirt and water should be thoroughly removed from the inside of the collecting container after work.
Please proceed as follows, when using the device as wet or dry vacuum cleaner:
• Screw on the blanking plug onto the outlet connection of the collecting container. Pay attention for correct fi t of the rubber seal inside.
• Fasten a suitable protective fi lter to the motor protecting grid:
For wet vacuuming: Filter sponge motor, black (see pond vacuuming)
For dry vacuuming: Dust fi lter insert, grey (for dry operation)
• Move the switch to I (MANUAL) in order to switch on the device. The device operates continuously in this position in continuous operation without interval switching. .
• Pay attention during longer vacuuming operation that the collecting container can take only a limited amount of water or dirt and dust particles and must, therefore, be emptied
within regular intervals.
• Switch off the device after use (0 - OFF), pull out the mains plug and clean the collecting container and fi lter inserts.
