The selection of the mounting location for the device, its controls and routing of the wiring is to be accomplished
under the direction of the Facilities Engineer and the Safety Engineer. Listed below are some other important safety
instructions and precautions you should follow.

Read and understand instructions before installing or operating equipment.

The product nameplate, which contains cautionary statements or information of importance, should not be
obscured in any way.
EXPLOSION HAZARD - To reduce the risk of ignition due to electrostatic discharge, avoid contact with the unit while an
explosive atmosphere is present. Clean only with a damp cloth. Do not use chemical cleaners.
Overview: LHWB wall mounting kit allows a user to install a Federal Signal hazardous location pipe mount warning light
to a horizonal or vertical surface. The kit is supplied with a surface mount weatherproof box. Model LHWB is ideal for
use in hazardous locations, 4X, IP66, and indoor or outdoor applications. The enclosure is also IP69K compliant.
Certifications:
•
Class I, Division 2, Groups A, B, C, and D; Class II, Division 2, Groups F and G; Class III or non-hazardous locations.
•
Class I, Zone 2, Ex nA IIC Gc; Zone 22 AEx tc IIIC Dc Hazardous Locations.
•
When used in the above hazardous locations, use with approved Federal Signal visual appliance models, 224XST,
225X, 225XL, 191XL(-CN), 225XST, 225XST-I, 151XST, 154XST, FB2LEDX(-CN), FB2LEDX-QC, 371LEDX or 371DST to
maintain certification.
WARNING - If the LHWB is mounted to one of the visual signal appliances specified above in Division Classified areas,
the entire assembled device is suitable only for Class I, Division 2, Groups A, B, C, and D; Class II, Division 2, Groups F
and G; Class III and/or Zone 2, Group IIC, and Zone 22, IIIC hazardous locations. However, in the same case, the entire
assembled device is not suitable for marine use.
