OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

WARNING
never immerse your tool or battery pack in fluid or allow a fluid
to flow inside them. Corrosive or conductive fluids, such as
seawater, certain industrial chemicals, and bleach or bleach
containing products, etc., can cause a short circuit.
BATTERY INSTALLATION (Fig .2)
The measuring tool uses (2) "AAA" alkaline batteries to power the
LCD module display.
1. To open the battery cover, press the battery cover latch in the
direction of the arrow and lift the battery cover up.
2. Insert (2) new "AAA" alkaline batteries. When inserting, pay
attention to the correct polarity according to the representation on
the inside of the battery compartment.
3. Replace the cover and close it securely.
NOTE:
Always turn off the tool before installing or replacing batteries.

Remove the batteries from the tool when not using it for extended
•
periods.
The (2) AAA batteries should match each other in brand and type.
•
Do not mix old and new batteries.
•
Remove depleted batteries immediately, and dispose of them
•
according to the laws and regulations governing your community.
