3. Setting the date and time

First of all you can set the year by pressing the "SET"

button (B) again When 20XX ﬂashes on the display,

you can set the year by pressing the save button "MEM"

(C). With each press of the button, the year increases by

1; values from 2001 to 2099 are possible. You can save

your setting by pressing the "SET" button (B) once more

Next, you can set the month. xxMxxD and xx:xx now

appears on the display and xxM ﬂashes. You can now

set the month by pressing the save button "MEM" (C).

With every press of the button the value increases by

1; values from 1 to 12 are possible. You can save your

setting by pressing the "SET" button (B) once more.

xxD now ﬂashes on the display. To set the tag, press

the save button "MEM" (C). With each press of the

button, the value increases by 1; values from 00 to 31

are possible. You can save your setting by pressing the

"SET" button (B) once more.

Next, you set the time. xxMxxD and xx:xx now appear

on the display and xx: ﬂashes; ﬁrst, you can set the hour

by pressing the save button "MEM" (C). With every

press of the button, the value increases by 1; values

from 1 to 23 are possible. You can save your setting by

pressing the "SET" button (B) once more.

:xx now ﬂashes on the display. To set the minutes press

the save button "MEM" (C). With each press of the

button, the value increases by 1; values from 00 to 59

are possible. You can save your setting by pressing the

"SET" button (B) once more

Before the measurement

Before you carry out a blood pressure measurement you should remain entirely calm for 5 - 10

minutes, not eat, not drink any alcohol, not smoke, not do any sport and not bathe. All of these

factors inﬂuence the measurement result. Remove items of clothing that are tight on your upper

arm. Always measure on the same arm (normally left). Carry out the measurement regularly at

the same time of day, because blood pressure changes during the day.
