Pilot flame fails to ignite
Pilot flame does not keep burning

Possible causes

Gas valve possibly shut
Fuel tank empty
Aperture blocked
Air in supply system
Battery run down
Loose connection
Contamination around the pilot flame
assembly

Defective thermocouple
Gas leak in the supply line
Burner pressure too low
Low gas pressure
Regulator not open
Regulator not on
Pilot flame assembly warped or not
correctly positioned
Remedy
Open the gas valve
Provide a full liquefied gas bottle
Clean or replace the aperture
Purge air from the supply lines
Replace the battery with the same type
Check all connections an tighten as
required
Clena the contaminated area
Replace the thermocouple
Check the connections
The gas bottle is nearly empty
The gas bottle is nearly empty
Remove the aperture, clean it and
remount it
Set the valve to ON
Position the pilot flame assembly
