The Acoustic Master Studio
The Traynor Acoustic Master Studio guitar amplifier was
designed to reproduce sound from an acoustic guitar as
naturally as possible.
1. Power - The power switch is located on the rear, the
Blue LED will illuminate when the unit is turned on.
2. Channel 1 - voiced specifically for acoustic guitars. It
can accept either passive or active pick-ups (coil/piezo).
3. Gain (Ch 1) - Used to set input level, the clip LED
gauges the level to help avoid clipping. If clipping occurs,
adjust the volume on your guitar and/or adjust the Gain.
4. Tone Controls (Ch 1) - These controls help shape
your tone and DO NOT affect Ch 2.
5. Notch Filter - The sweepable notch filter can help
eliminate feedback caused by the guitar.
6. Channel 2 - The Combi-Jack accepts line level
signals from active acoustic guitars (or other line level
sources) via the 1/4-inch portion and can also accept mi-
crophones through the balanced XLR.
7. Gain (Ch 2) - Set input level for Ch 2, works simi-
larly to the Ch 1 Gain control.
8. Tone Controls (Ch 2) - A two band EQ (Bass and
Treble) boosts or cuts the signal to shape your tone.

Master Effects
9. Master Effects - The Acoustic Master Studio uses
a DSP (Digital Signal Processor) for its 16 custom effects.
The Mix knob is used to blend in the required amount of the
original, clean signal. The Modify control is used to alter the
chosen effect. The parameter that can be changed is listed
for each effect on the plate found on the top of your amp.
Refer to the Owner's Manual for a description of each ef-
fect.
10. Master - The master volume is used to increase or
decrease the overall output volume.
11. Footswitch - An optional footswitch, such as the
single-switch APEX AFS1, can be used to bypass the
built in effects.
12. Aux In - The stereo RCA are used with line level
devices like MP3 players, CD players, etc. The signal is
inserted before the Master volume.
13. Line Out - The balanced Line Out jack outputs a
summed signal of ch 1 and 2, post-effects, pre Master
Volume. The Gain controls do affect the output of the
Line Out with the effects being audible but the Master
control will not attenuate the signal. The Line Out can be
connected directly to a mixer, a recording device or even
another amplifier.
