5) Make sure the rotation indicator (21) is green (Fig. 8), to confirm that
the seat is locked in its correct position (Fig. 8).
6) The Mettro Child Car Seat is now installed correctly. You can choose
either rearward-facing or forward-facing installation as long as the
child exceeds 76 cm in height.

3.2 Securing your child

The Apramo Hub System has a loading position (turn 90° to vehicle
door) to facilitate the installation of your child. To do this, please follow
the below steps methodically:
1) Turn the car seat to a loading position to facilitate the installation of
your child (Fig. 11).
2) Press the quick adjuster (17) and pulling the harness strap (15) (Fig.
15). Press the red button and open the harness buckle (16) (Fig. 14).
3) Place your child in the car seat. Pass the harness around the child's
shoulder, close the harness buckle by joining the 2 tongues and
joining them together into the buckle body (Refer to Fig.14 in reverse
order). Remember not to place your child in thick clothes as this will
reduce the child's level of safety in the event of an accident.
4) Adjust the headrest of the car seat by pulling the headrest
adjustment handle (13) that is located on the top and meantime
adjust the newborn insert (18) head part to the same position as the
headrest by adjusting the velcro but don't move the body part. The
correct position of the head restraint is: when in rearward-facing direction,
the harness is horizontal to or a little bit below the top of your child's
shoulder; when in forward-facing direction, the harness is horizontal to or
a little bit above the top of your child's shoulder (Fig. 12) .
5) Adapt the harness by pulling on the adjustment strap (20) (Fig.16).
As a reference, the correct harness tension is considered if there is a
maximum of 1 cm between your child's body and the harness.
6) Your child is now correctly secured.
7) Ensure that your child's both arms and legs are inside the car seat.
By pressing the rotation lever (5) , you can turn the seat rearward-
facing or forward-facing (Fig. 8) . At Apramo, we recommend
travelling as long as possible rearward-facing.
8) Remember to leave as much space as possible between the child
car seat and the front vehicle seat, as well as in the left and right
sides of the child car seat. This will increase your child's survival rate
in the event of a collision.
