2
The boom is not raised although the
lowering valve is closed
3
The boom is not lowering or
too slowly
4
The boom is lowering in neutral
position of the control lever
If the problem cannot be solved according to the above chart, please contact the manufacturer.
Possible cause
a) Air in the hydraulic system
b) Not enough hydraulic oil
a) See item no. 1 b)
b) The control lever (Fig. 2) is
wrongly adjusted
c) The main valve is defective
d) The overflow valve is wrongly adjusted
e) Oil seals for pump piston and pressure
piston are defective
The tie rods are not adjusted correctly
See item nos. 2 b), 2 c), 2 d).
Remedy
While pulling the control lever make 3 - 4
pump actions with the pump handle to
bleed the hydraulic system.
Remove tank cap and refill oil. Make sure
to use true hydraulic oil only. In order to
refill oil, lower the boom completely.
Add oil until it is level with the lower edge
of the tank opening (total volume approx.
0,8 litres).
See para „Adjust the lowering action
(Fig.2)".
Replace the main valve assy. (consult
competent dealer or repair shop).
Set the overflow valve to the max.
admissible load (consult competent dealer
or repair shop).
Replace oil seals.
After longer use the oil seals are subject
to wear. They should be replaced by a
competent dealer or repair shop that
disposes of the relative repair instructions.
See para „Adjust the lowering action
(Fig. 2)". Make sure that the bearings
of the boom are properly lubricated.
