Introduction
The multi-purpose Yorkville 200KB power combo has been designed to produce the most
performance possible in a compact format. The Yorkville 200KB mixer/amplifier is appropri-
ate for use with just about anything that produces an audio signal. This includes such things as
keyboards, acoustic guitars (with pickups), microphones, or an audio source such as a Compact
Disc or cassette player. No matter what the Yorkville 200KB is used for, we are sure that it will
prove to be versatile and dependable for years to come.
Master Volume
The MASTER volume controls the overall sound output level.
Input Channels
The Yorkville 200KB has four input channels. All input channels can be used simultaneously.
For example, you can use microphones on Channel 1 and Channel 2, a keyboard on Channel 3,
and a CD player on Channel 4. You can balance the volumes of the sources by adjusting each
channel's volume control.
All phone jack inputs on the Yorkville 200KB can accept both balanced and unbalanced sig-
nals. The phone jack inputs are balanced TRS — Tip(
jacks can also accept regular unbalanced cables. For best results and reduced noise it is advised
that you use balanced (stereo) cables for interconnection wherever possible. Also, all of the
phone jack outputs are electronically processed to minimize the possibility of induced–hum from
equipment interconnections. Clip LEDs in all channels and busses light 3dB before clipping.
• Channel 1/Channel 2 — Although these channels are optimized for microphones, the
phone jack also accept line level inputs (an acoustic guitar with a pickup, electronic
keyboard, Compact Disc player or other audio sources). Adjust the VOLUME controls
for the level of sound desired. As Channel 1 and Channel 2 offers more gain than
Channel 3 and Channel 4, it is advised that the sources with the lowest output levels
be connected to Channel 1 or Channel 2.
* Do not use both the phone and XLR inputs at the same time as signals will be highly attenuated.
• Channel 3 — The phone jack on this channel is optimized for line level signals such as
an electronic keyboard or other similar audio sources. Adjust the VOLUME control for
the level of sound desired.
• Channel 4 — The phone jack on this channel is optimized for line level signals such as
an electronic keyboard. The RCA jacks are optimized for a Compact Disc player, cas-
sette player, or other similar audio sources. Adjust the VOLUME control for the level of
sound desired.
