What You May Expect
when Using the Appliance
Perhaps for many users it is the first experience with a
light-based hair removal appliance that has been developed
for domestic use. The appliance is easy to use and hair
removal sessions are hardly time-consuming. It is normal
that you perceive the following during a session with this
appliance:
• Light Flash
A light flash may be visible when using the appliance.
Therefore, always wear the supplied safety glasses
when applying.
• Noise of the Fan
The built-in cooling fan of the appliance makes a sound
that is similar to a hair dryer. This is normal.
• Popping Sound with Every Light Flash
It is normal that you hear a popping sound at the same
time as the light flash is triggered.
• Slight Imprint of the Light Flash Outlet Window
This is necessary and useful, and a part of the appli-
ance's safety feature to ensure the placement of the
adjacent light flashes.
• A Sense of Warmth and Tingling
During each light flash it is normal that you experience
a slight feeling of warmth and tingling. Remember that it
is important to always use a low power level for the first
hair removal sessions. There may be times when you
feel certain warmth up to one hour after the application.
