8.1

START THE MACHINE

The mower is equipped with a protector (it's a device that is
calibrated to open the motor circuit upon reaching a certain
temperature/current but requires both cool down below the
calibration point and removal of power for resetting of the
protector) to stop the mower if blade is stuck or overload
occurs. When the protection happens, the operator should
release the bail switch and pull the plug immediately, then
restart the mower after at least 5 minutes.
1. Connect the machine into an approved outdoor extension
cable.
2. Push and hold the start button (3).
3. While you hold the start button, pull the bail switch (1) in
the direction of the handle bar.
4. Release the start button to start the machine.
8.2

STOP THE MACHINE

1. Release the bail switch to stop the machine.
Wait until the blades fully stop before you start the machine
again. Do not quickly turn the machine off and on.
Always disconnect from the power supply after you
complete the work.
8.3

USE THE CORD RETAINER

In the condition that the extension cable disconnects from the
power supply during operation, the machine contains a cord
retainer. The cord retainer hangs from the cord guide bar.
Make a loop of the extension cable around the cord retainer
(9) before we connect the extension cable into the outlet.
To use the cord retainer:
1. Make a tight loop near the cord retainer (9).
