Press "FUNC" button to select DC or AC current measurement.
Connect the black test lead to the "COM" jack. If the current to
be measured is less than 400 mA, connect the red test lead to
the "mA°C" jack. If the current is between 400 mA and 10 A,
connect the red test lead to the "1O A" jack instead.
Turn off power to the circuit to be measured and discharge all
high-voltage capacitors.
Break the circuit path to be measured, connect the test leads in
series with the circuit.
Turn on power to the circuit, then read the display.
For DC current measurement, the polarity of the red test lead
connection will be indicated as well.
NOTE:
When the range switch is in the 10A range position, you must
use the "10A" jack.
When you use the "10A" jack, the range switch must be in the
10A range position.
