Operation

CAUTION!
WARNING: Do not use the device near a bathtub, shower or any con-
tainer holding water.
■ Danger of burns to your head and scalp if temperature chosen is too high! We rec-
ommend that you start with a low temperature and increase it if necessary.
• Switching the device on: Insert the mains plug in a socket, use the On/Off switch
to select one of the two blower settings and touch the sensor on the handle with the
palm of your hand.
The device has a sensor touch function: It automatically switches off when you let go of
the handle and switches on when the sensor on the handle is touched. Thus, you can set
the device down briefl y while styling without having to manually switch it off and back on.
When blow drying your hair, make sure that you are touching the sensor on the handle
with the palm of your hand.
However, be absolutely sure to switch the device off completely (On/Off
switch to position 0) once you are fi nished blow drying your hair!
We recommend the following switch positions:

Attaching and Removing Attachments
The hair-styling nozzle / diffuser attachment is plugged onto the air outlet opening and
must be heard to engage in place. To remove it, simply take off the nozzle / attachment.

Preparation

1. Wash your hair and dry it with a towel.
2. Thoroughly comb through your hair.
3. Make sure that the On/Off switch of the device is in the 0 position.
4. Completely unwind the mains cable and plug the mains plug into an easily accessible
plug socket (220-240 V~).
