■ Never immerse the device in water or other liquids! Ensure that the device, cable or
plug cannot fall into water or become wet. Should the device fall into water, switch off
the power supply immediately. Do not try to retrieve the device from the water!
■ Never touch the device, the mains cable or the plug with wet hands.
■ Lay the mains cable in such a way that it does not become squashed or bent and
does not come into contact with sharp edges and hot surfaces (also of the device).
Fire risk
■ Never leave the device unattended when it is switched on or connected to the mains.
■ This device will become hot during use! Flammable objects in the immediate vicinity
of the device could ignite! The device must neither come into contact with combus-
tible materials, nor be used close to combustible materials such as cardboard, plastic
or paper.
■ Never place the device on soft cushions or blankets while it is being used.
■ Never cover the air intake and outlet opening and make sure that they are not blocked
each time before you use the device.
■ Do not use the device if highly fl ammable gases are present in the air.
■ Maintain a suffi cient distance from sources of heat, such as hobs or ovens.
■ Unwind the mains cable fully before connecting up the device.
■ Always allow the device to cool down completely before putting it away.

close to your hair.

hot during use. Make absolutely sure that you do not come into contact with any heat-
ed parts during and after use of the device. Only ever hold the device by the handle.
Only clean and store away the device after it has cooled down completely.
■ Do not direct the hot air towards the eyes or other sensitive areas of the body.
■ Make sure that the connected mains cable does not present a trip hazard. Do not
allow it to hang over the edge of tables, shelves or cupboards.
Damage to the Device
■ Use only original parts from the manufacturer.
■ Do not drop the device or allow it to be knocked violently.
■ When you wish to remove the mains plug from the socket, always pull the plug and
never the cable.

around the device.
