Lowering the pump
When lowering and pulling up the pump in a
shaft, make sure that the mains supply cable is
not subject to tensile stress and that no objects
fall into the shaft. These can jam between the
pump housing and shaft wall so that the pump
cannot be pulled up again.
Switching the pump on
The immersion pump must not
draw in any solid bodies. Sand
and other abrasive materials
in the conveying medium
will destroy the immersion
1. Fully unwind the mains connection cable.
2. Make sure that the electrical plug
connection is mounted in the area safe from
flooding.
3. Insert the mains plug into the plug socket.
Switching the pump off
Remove the mains plug from the plug socket.

MAINTENANCE AND CARE
Cleaning the pump
After
conveying
swimming pool water or fluids that leave
a residue, the pump must be flushed out
with clear water.
Clean the suction slots on the suction foot if
necessary with clear water.
Checking the cable
Pull the pump out of the shaft from time
to time.
2. Check the cable. If the cable is damaged,
replace it with an original spare part.
3. Check that the cable lugs on the pump are
still durable.
If the cable is damaged, carefully try to pull the
pump out of the shaft via the pressure line.
Never pull on the mains supply cable.
STORAGE
If there is the danger of frost, the sys-
tem must be completely drained and the
pump must be stored in a frost-proof
place.
