product.

Vermeiren. To support you on the use of
these ramps and their operating options, this
manual is offered. Please read it carefully; it
will help you to get familiar with the operation,
capabilities and limitations of your ramps.
If you still have questions after reading this
manual, do not hesitate to contact your

you.

Before use

2.1
Upon delivery
Unpack your product and verify if the delivery
is complete. Following items should be
included:
• 2 foldable ramps
• Transport bags (2x)
• Instruction manual
Verify your product for transport damage. If
you find any damages after delivery, contact
the transporter.
2.2

Intended use

• The ramps are designed and produced
solely to be used as transport aid for
wheelchairs and scooters with a total mass
of up to 150 kg per ramp.
• The ramps are meant to be used as a pair.
• The warranty on this product is based on
normal use and maintenance as described
in this manual. Damage to your product
caused by improper use or lack of
maintenance will cause the warranty to
lapse.

Safety instructions

CAUTION
Please read and follow the instructions in
this manual. Otherwise you may get
injured, or your ramps and wheelchair/
scooter may get damaged.
• Do not use a wheelchair or scooter on the
ramps while the user is seated in it.
• Do not exceed the maximum load of the
ramps.
• Do not exceed the rated slope of the
wheelchair or scooter.
• Do not drive over the lateral edge; risk of
tipping over.
• When transporting the ramps, make sure
, you
that they are stored in a separate luggage
compartment; risk of injury.
• Place the ramps on equal surfaces; both
ramps must have the same inclination.
• Pay attention to the track width of the
wheelchair; all wheels must be touching
the ramps during transport. Do not place
the ramps too far apart. Make sure that the
ramps are placed parallel to each other.
• Do not use for permanent installation.
• Make sure that the wheelchair or scooter
tyres have enough grip on the ramp
surface. Before use, check the non-slip
surface of the ramps, the condition and
wear of the tyres and clean if necessary
(e.g. wetness, mud, ...).
