Installing the Front Speakers on the Tall Boy Stands
To assemble one speaker, follow these steps:
1. Turn the Stand Base upside down, and then
connect it to the bottom of the Stand.
2. Insert three 5x20 screws into the holes in the
Stand Base and tighten with a screwdriver as
shown in the illustration.
| CAUTION |
\ If you use a torque screwdriver, be careful not to apply
too much force (below 15kg.f.cm.) If you applyt too much
force, you can damage the screws or the base.
3. Find the supplied speaker cable with the
colored plug that matches the colored input
jack for the front or surround speakers on the
back of the Home Theater.
4. Straighten the speaker cable, insert the end
with the bare wire through the hole in the stand
base, and then push the cable up through the
base until there are about 6 inches of cable
sticking out of the top of the stand.Insert a
screw (5x15) clockwise into the hole on the rear
of the speaker using a screwdriver.
5. Connect the Speaker to the top of the stand.
6. Insert a (5x15) screw into the screw hole in
the rear of the speaker, and then tighten with
a screwdriver.
7. Repeat this procedure for the other Front
Speaker using the appropriate speaker cable.
