Installation des palettes de bell
Check one more time that both sides of the flybar have exactly the same length (L1 and

L2 on the drawing).You will then need to install the flybar paddles. Think about cleaning
them with degreasing agent first so the stickers will glue correctly. You can also secure
the stickers with a very thin drop of CA once they are installed. Make sure to have
some glue accelerator for that operation, so you do not find your fingers glued on the
paddles when manipulating them after... Then fit the metal insert inside the paddles. Do
not put any M3x3 screw at the moment, so you can see the flybar thread when

tightening the flybar paddles through the thread holes.Apply a very small drop of thread
lock on the flybar thread, and start to screw the paddles. You will see the flybar thread
appearing through the metal inserts threaded holes after a few seconds. Wait that the
threads «closes» the gap and then count how many more turn you bring to tighten the
flybar. Do NOT overtighten. If you can not perform a complete revolution to align the
paddle once the insert reaches the thread limits in the flybar, just come one turn back if
necessary, and align the paddle with the flybar cage. Install the M3x3 screws on each
side with thread lock and proceed with the second paddle. As you checked how many
turns you applied to the previous paddle, just proceed the same and double check then
the L1 and L2 lengths to have exactly the same on each side. Make sure the paddles
are perfectly aligned with each other and with the flybar cage. Do not mount them
inverted, the thinnest edge must be the trailing edge.
Vérifiez bien que les longueurs de la barre de Bell de chaque côté du cadre soient
parfaitement identiques (L1 et L2 sur le schéma). Installez les palettes de Bell.
Dégraissez les palettes avant collage des adhésifs de recouvrement. Avant de
positionner les inserts en métal dans chaque palette, vérifiez qu'ils se vissent
correctement sur les taraudages. Mettez en place ces inserts en laiton dans les
palettes, puis vissez ces dernières de chaque côté de la barre de Bell. Le serrage
optimal étant indiqué par un durcissement notable de la rotation lors du vissage.
Ne forcez pas, mais orientez la palette en la DEVISSANT légèrement de manière à
ce que le bord d'attaque (le bord le plus épais) soit orienté vers l'avant quand le
rotor tourne dans le sens des aiguilles d'une montre. Vérifiez ensuite que la
distance entre les palettes et le cadre de barre de Bell soient bien égales, et
dévissez la palette avec la plus petite distance pour ajuster si nécessaire.
