Cleaning

As the printer housing is made of top grade, resistant materials, all commercially available
cleaning agents may be used.

Malfunctions

Malfunction / Message
Printout unreadable
Green pilot lamp
does not light up
• Pull paper out of printing unit (1).
• Remove ribbon cover (2, 3, 4).
• To remove ribbon cartridge, press in direction of arrow (5).
• Insert new ribbon and if need be, take up slack with tensioning
wheel (6).
• Refit ribbon cover.
• Insert paper and feed through slit in the printing unit as far as
it will go.
• Press and hold
Possible cause
• Ribbon worn / entangled
• Service life of printing unit at an end • Please contact
• Printer on
• No power, fuse defective
until sufficient paper has been fed in.
Rectification
• Change / tension
