Application
Installation possible in all GD2 cisterns with AV1.
Safety notes
• Installation is only possible in frost-free rooms.
• Prevent danger resulting from damaged power supply
cables. In the case of damage, the external transformer
connection cable must be replaced by the manufacturer
or his customer service department or an equally qualified
person.
• The 230 V AC supply must not be fed into the cistern and
the switched-mode power supply must not be installed in
the cistern.
• Use only genuine replacement parts and accessories.
The use of other parts will result in voiding of the warranty
and the CE identification.
• The voltage supply must be separately switchable.
• The electronics are only suitable for indoor use.

Approval and conformity
This product conforms to the requirements of the
relevant EU guidelines.
The conformity declarations can be obtained from the following

Operation
Flushing is triggered by touching an actuating surface.
The electronics detects whether the small surface or the large
surface is touched and triggers a correspondingly small or
large flow volume.
Installation
An empty tube (B) is required for the line between
switched-mode power supply (A) and wall plate (C), see
fold-out page I, Fig. [1].
Route the extension cable (D) from the cistern through the
empty tube. Plaster and tile the wall, excluding the area of the
structural shell protection.

Electrical installation
Electrical installation work must only be
performed by a qualified electrician. This work
must be carried out in accordance with the
regulations to IEC 364-7 701-1984 (corresponding
to VDE 0100 Part 701) as well as all national and
local regulations.
• Only water-resistant round cables with max. outside
diameter of 6.0 to 8.5mm may be used.
1. Fasten base (A1) of transformer using screws (A2),
see Fig. [2].
2. Insert 230 V connecting wire (E) into transformer base (A1)
and insulate.
3. Pull sleeve (F1) over the two current-carrying wires (E1).
4. Attach lustre terminal (F); observe assignment, see Fig. [3].
5. Secure all three wires using cable tie (F2), just in front of
lustre terminal (F).
6. Route strand (E2) in an arc and secure lustre terminal (F)
in the mount in transformer base (A1), see Fig. [4].
7. Secure cable (E) using screws (G1) and strain relief (G).
8. Fasten lid (H) in the transformer base using screw (H1).
9. Attach upper part (A3) of the transformer.
10. Cut off structural shell protection (I) flush with the tile
surface, see Fig. [5].
11. Connect extension cable (D) to switched-mode power
supply (A), see Fig. [6].
Final installation
1. Detach overflow pipe (K1) from the outlet valve and pull
outlet valve (K) out of the cistern, see Fig. [7].
2. Turn outlet valve (K) through 180° and engage in the
cistern, see Fig. [8].
Note: Do not turn the outlet valve if the filler valve is installed
on the right, see Fig. [9].
3. Clamp pneumatic hose (K2) in crossrail (L) and cut off
above the crossrail, see Fig. [10].
4. Close shut-off device (M), see Fig. [11].
5. Replace existing hose (N) with hose with elbow (N1)
(scope of delivery); open shut-off device (M).
6. Fasten lift rod (O) to overflow pipe (K1), see Fig. [12].
7. Fasten overflow pipe (K1) to outlet valve.
8. Engage servo motor (P) in bracket (P1), see Fig. [13].
9. Install bolts (Q) and cut to length, see Fig. [14a] or [14b].
10. Install screws (Q1) in bolts (Q), see Fig. [15].
11. Insert plates (R) and fasten using screws (Q1), see Fig. [16].
12. Screw magnets (S) into the plates, see Fig. [17].
Calibrating the servo motor
Caution: The servo motor must be calibrated outside the
cistern.
1. Connect the voltage supply: Connect electronics (C) with
extension cable (D), see fold-out page III, Fig. [18]. The
servo motor must not be connected when performing this
operation. Confirmation: Illuminated frame flashes.
2. Connect servo motor (P) to electronics (C).
The illuminated frame stops flashing and adjustment
automatically starts. The servo motor moves to the
adjustment positions.
