Verify the contents of the package to see if any accessories are missing or if there has been any
damage during transport. If the appliance is damaged or parts are missing, do not use the appliance,
return it to your distributor.

Remove all the packaging materials and keep them for future use.
!
Warning! The packaging materials are not toys! Do not allow children to play with the
packaging!

Clean the appliance and the accessories as described in the section "Cleaning and Maintenance".
•
Wipe all the parts with a soft dry cloth.
•
Place the appliance on a flat, stable surface. Make sure that the thermostat is set to 0. Do not put
the pans in the appliance. Plug in the appliance. The indicator light will turn red. Turn the thermostat
up to the MAX setting. The indicator light will turn green and the appliance will begin to heat. When
the green indicator light turns off, the appliance has finished heating. Turn the thermostat to 0 and
unplug the appliance. Let it cool for 20 minutes.
•
After this period, the raclette appliance is ready for use.
!
Note: During the first use, there may be a slight odor and a little smoke from the appliance.
This is normal and will quickly decrease.
setting up
1.
Place the base of the appliance on a flat, stable, heat-resistant surface.
2.
Fit the two plates in position on the base of the appliance and ensure they are stable.
3.
Make sure that the thermostat is set to 0, then connect the appliance to the power supply. The
indicator light will turn red.
Note: the cooking plates must always be fitted onto the appliance base. Do not use the
appliance without fitting the grill plate and the cooking stone.
