4. MAINTENANCE
Always disconnect the apparatus before
carrying out inspection or cleaning.
Never use water or other liquids to clean
the electrical parts of the hot air gun.
• Never use easy inflammable liquids for
cleaning the hot air gun, especially for the
mouthpiece.
• Regular maintenance of your hot air gun
prevents unnecessary problems. Keep the
ventilation slots of the hot air gun clean to
prevent overheating.
Troubleshooting
In case the hot air gun does not work well, we give
you subjoined some possible causes and their
solutions.
• The engine gets overheated.
• The ventilation slots of the hot air gun are
dirty.
• Clean the ventilation slots.
• The hot air gun does not start when it is
switched on.
• Interruption in the electrical circuit.
• Check the mains lead and the mains plug.
• The switch is defective.
• Pull the mains lead out of the wall socket,
because there is a chance of fire risk ! Have
the hot air gun repaired at your local dealer.
• The engine does not work, but it does heat.

Faults
Should a fault occur, e.g. after wear of a part,
please contact the service address on the
warranty card. In the back of this manual you find
an exploded view showing the parts that can be

Faulty and/or discarded electrical or
electronic apparatus have to be
collected at the appropriate recycling
locations.
