• Disconnect the mains plug from the
socket if the appliance is not being
used
• Hot steam is generated when the ap-
pliance is being used. Avoid contact
with the steam when lifting the lid or
when steam comes out of the open-
ing in the lid
• Please make sure that escaping
steam or moisture will not be con-
densing on sensitive objects or sur-
faces
• The scales on the measuring cup are
merely indicative. Adjust the amount
of water as needed if the desired de-
gree of hardness is not obtained
