1 Attach water inlet. Tighten with wrench. Ensure that filter is supplied for the box inlet to collect the impurities within the piping
(filings, stones, solder spots, etc.) and undesirable objects lost in the piping. This is essential to maintain the water tightness and
manoeuvrability of the installation.
2 Attach outlet Make sure that there is slack in the water hose to allow the faucet's pull-out to be used.
PRECAUTION FOR HYDRAULIC CONNECTIONS
Water tightness is preferably guaranteed by a flat seal placed between the box's thread and the water pipe: ensure that seals have
the correct dimensions, are clean and without defect, whilst checking that the seal is fit for purpose.
Hold the box in a fixed position during the connection with water piping to avoid excessive strain on its hydraulics. Screw by hand to
ensure correct alignment with the box's thread then screw until the mechanical stop. Finish the attachment by using an appropriate
wrench and making a ¼ turn (maximum); maximum tightening torque 5 Nm.
Do not clamp the box inlet or outlet with wrench or other tools in order to avoid damage to the body's exterior surface and premature
wear of internal components.
