Instructions for
Assembly and Use
Assembly and preparation for use of the Z-Star™
1. Place the Base (1) onto the edge of a table, or a similarly stable edge, onto which you would like
to attach the juicer.
2. Slide the Table Clamp (2) into the oblong groove on the bottom of the Base (1) and hook the
tooth of the Table Clamp (2) into the opening.
3. To fasten the base, turn the winged screw on the Table Clamp (2) counter-clockwise until it is
very tight.
(When assembling for the first time, you can skip steps 4 and 5, since these individual parts are al-
ready put together.)
4. Place the Auger (7) into the Auger Housing (6) and slide the hexagonal shaft of the Auger th-
rough the small opening until the Auger (7) reaches the end of the Housing.
5. Pull the Screen (8) over the Auger (7) and close the Housing (6) with the green Screen Locking
Cap (10) by turning the Locking Cap counter-clockwise.
6. Insert hexagonal shaft on the Housing (6) – including the Auger, Screen, and Locking Cap – into
the hexagonal insert-opening on the front of the Base (1) so that the opening for the Feeding
Chute is facing upwards. Ensure that you find the position where the Housing (6) or the hexago-
nal shaft of the Auger (7) can be inserted as far as it can go. Lock it into place by tightly turning
the green Auger Housing Retaining Ring (4) counter-clockwise.
7. Place the green Feeding Chute (5) onto the Housing (6).
8. Attach the Hand Crank (3) onto the hexagonal shaft on the Base (1).
9. Position the Juice Container under then Juice Outlet at the bottom of
the Housing (6) and a bowl, or the like, under the Pulp Discharge Outlet
(9+10) (see illustration 1).
