USING THE FILTERING SYSTEM
Activating the Laica HYDROSMART™ filter:
When first used and every time the HYDROSMART™
filter is changed, turn the tap on and allow the water to
flow through the filter for several minutes (at least 4-5
minutes) to correctly activate the materials of which the
filter is composed. This water can be used for watering
plants. If the Laica filtering system has not been used
for 24 hours or more, allow the water to flow for 30-60
seconds before using the filtered water again.
CAUTION:
- To guarantee the performance characteristics of the
filtering system, it is recommended to filter cold water
only.
- The flow of water at a temperature higher than 50°C
through the connector may cause permanent damage.
The flow of water at a temperature higher than 35°C
through the filter may cause permanent damage.
- To adjust the water flow properly, open the tap slowly.
The Laica filtering system has 2 different ways of
dispensing the water which can be selected with the
selector C:
1) Filtered water for
drinking, washing
fruit and vegetables,
cooking and carry out
all routine tasks with
safe, pleasant tasting
water.
2) Unfiltered water with
spray head.
